Buy A Microphone - Save The Rainforest

US LEWITT intros limited edition LCT 440 PURE – VIDA to help preserve the Costa Rican rainforest      01/11/23

LEWITT, the Austrian audio manufacturer, has launched the limited LCT 440 PURE – VIDA edition, a new colour version of their best-selling studio microphone. They say that each unit sold supports the tradition of Austrian musicians of preserving the rainforest in Costa Rica.

In 1991, the NGO "Rainforest of the Austrians" was founded by Michael Schnitzler to protect nature and its biodiversity. Michael Schnitzler is a famous Austrian ecologist and violinist who played in the Vienna State Opera and the Vienna Philharmonic, giving concerts worldwide.

LEWITT continues the tradition of Austrian music creators who have supported the "Rainforest of the Austrians" project in Costa Rica for over 30 years with royalties from their songs, benefit concerts and appeals for donations to preserve nature and atmosphere. LEWITT contributes to this project by acquiring over 30,000 m2 of rainforest and placing it under protection.

Roman Perschon, CEO of LEWITT, told us, "We see diversity and sustainability as something worth promoting. Especially as nature lovers, it is nice to be part of an endeavor that dedicates itself to preserving this rainforest treasure."

LEWITT says that, since its introduction, the LCT 440 PURE has become a popular best-seller by bringing studio sound quality and outstanding specifications to a wide range of users - for home recording, podcasts, and streaming. Now, it's available in a great new color, and parts of the proceeds go directly to preserving the rainforest. However, the price remains the same compared to the standard model.
