Teenage Engineering Debuts TX-6 Field Mixer

US Ultra-portable pro-mixer and audio interface      22/04/22

Teenage Engineering and UK distributor Sound Technology Ltd have announced the TX-6 field mixer. TX–6, a 6 channel stereo mixer, or 12 channel mono, with built-in equaliser, filters, compressor, aux send, cue and digital effects. They say that this ultra-portable mixer can also be used as a multi-functional USB audio interface. Here's more details from them...

More than meets the eye
You'll also find some fun extras, like the instrument tuner or the built-in sound generator with 4 waveforms and 4 drum machine sounds to create music on the go. The interface is completely customisable; choose to have the three-band eq at your fingertips, or program each knob to control preferred settings.

Smallest of its kind
TX–6 is encased in durable aluminium with custom-designed encoders and faders. The rechargeable battery makes it completely portable so you can take TX–6 from home to the studio, or wherever really.

Field system
Field system began with the idea to create a series of products that look, feel and function as part of a whole. Every item in the collection is designed with portability, compatibility and durability in mind. More than an engineering challenge, field system is driven by a desire to rethink the way we approach music making. TX–6 is the first release in the system, with more devices and accessories to come.
