iZotope are one of those companies that can perform miracles with digital audio, starting out by creating a plug-in that could add vinyl noise to digital audio files, and ending up removing similar and more complex audio problems, they have become wizards of DSP and audio analysis.

Mark Ethier is one of the 6 original founders and CEO of the company set up straight out of Boston's MIT and immediately setting to work on clever digital audio manipulation. Their innovation in restoration of digital audio and mastering and other processing has been well documented. We spoke to Mark at NAMM earlier this year.
