Korg’s sound team has introduced a selection of new patches for the Radias synthesizer to emulate the MS2000, MS2000B and microKORG. Korg say that current users who are thinking of upgrading to the RADIAS, will be able keep the same sound pallete from these hugely popular Korg keyboards, in addition to having the power of the RADIAS sound engine.
The data is free to download now from www.korg.co.uk and is formatted to work with the recently updated V2 editor.
Radias Version 2 Radias Version 2 is a major update to the system, which introduces many new features, including additional destinations for the Virtual Patch function, support for the Korg Komponent System connection with M3 Music Workstation/Sampler, and RADIAS Sound Editor compatibility with Windows Vista and Intel Mac. Included in this download is a supplement to the original Owner's Manual that explains the new features, Radias 2.0 Sound Editor, and instructions on how to install the new OS into your Radias.
