Behringer have announced the launch of its new rack mount EURORACK PRO RX1202FX mixer. The mixer is designed for the traveling rack or for tidying up and conserving table space in the studio. Alternatively, it may be ideal for or for the keyboardist who needs to submix.
The new 3U space Eurorack Pro RX1202FX mixer shares the same quality as the popular BEHRINGER UB series mixers. It features BEHRINGER’s ULN (Ultra low-noise) design, incorporating eight new IMP ‘Invisible’ Mic Preamps, with 130 dB dynamic range and 60 dB gain range, and low noise low distortion 4580 operational amplifiers.
The mixer is packed with connectivity starting with four balanced high-headroom line inputs and two aux sends per channel, (one pre fader for monitoring applications, one post fader for internal FX or as external send). There are separate control room and phones outputs and stereo assignable CD/tape outputs. The main mix outputs are balanced on gold-plated XLR.
60 mm logarithmic-taper faders and sealed rotary controls provide level adjustments and all channels have two-band EQ and a clip LED for level indication. The main channels can be routed to the integrated stereo 24-bit digital FX processor which has 100 presets including reverb, chorus, flanger, delay, pitch shifter and various multi-effects. For operating condenser microphones the unit has switchable global +48 V phantom power. Rounding out the unit is the internal switch-mode power supply for global (100 – 240 V~) operation.
