Behringer were showing their dinky battery powered 10 channel MXB1002 mixer. Designed for the truly mobile musician, this may prove handy for those location recordings where power just ain't around. It also features AC power, 2 channel insert points, 3 band eq, 2 fx sends, phantom power, headphone out -with own volume and a 2ch tape return. I guess the most immediate use wil be for location recording where multiple inputs to DAT/MiniDisc are needed. The mixer can be powered from 3 PP3 type batteries and will be available from spring 2001.
