Alesis: Much Awaited MasterLink now shipping

The much heralded 24bit 96khz ready 2 track mastering device is poised to hit the shops. The unit features an internal 4.3gb drive with digital and analog connections to accommodate all but the wierdest equipment. You can record at the highest resolution then burn to the CD as DVD (96/24) or good 'ol Red book audio. Priced at around $1699 it should be a big seller for all those who are looking for a new pro mastering system. You even get a free (gasp) CDR. Bless 'em.
