New Soundiron Tuned Percussion Library

US Mini Saron features a toy Indonesian gamelan instrument      05/03/21

Soundiron tells us that Mini Saron is a deeply sampled tuned percussion library that captures the heart and soul of a tiny toy saron. The saron is a musical instrument of Indonesia, which is used in gamelan. A spokesperson told us, "We recorded Mini Saron up close in wide stereo and also included a 2nd tetrahedral binaural microphone to give you a first-person experience with the instrument, with an intimate and enveloping sound."

This library includes a flexible modular user interface with hammer, mallet and various gliss articulations as well as 25 ambient soundscapes and atmospheric pads hand-crafted from the recorded material. You also get 20 custom sound-designed fx presets. It's built for the full retail version of Kontakt 5.5 or later.

Pricing and Availability:
Mini Saron is on sale for $11 (MSRP $15) until March 16th!
