Behringer Set Their 2600 Price - $599

The latest and perhaps one of the more highly anticipated Behringer synth releases has had its price set. The 2600 - the latest classic synth clone to leave the factory has been ticketed at just $599.
This appears to be a very competitive price for what for many is one of the holy grail synths.

The Behringer 2600 is different to the previous range of synths which have been housed in a Eurorack style case - the Model D, Pro-1, K-3, Wasp Deluxe and Neutron all share a similar desktop size.

The 2600 is a completely new format, and is the result of collaboration with Rob Keeble from AMSsynths.
Smaller than the original (19 inch rack mount) , but with numerous tweaks and mods (LED fader tops, classic ladder filter and Odyssey type filters), its now getting ready to ship in limited numbers.

Its an astonishing price point, and leverages the large manufacturer capacity and scale to make it as low as possible. Its part of the massive onslaught of synth products coming from Behringer which are bringing so much affordable analog into the world.

Note: the 2600 is not yet listed in the synth section of the Behringer site.

Contact your local dealer or distributor for final details of  when you can expect the 2600 to be in stock.
