Synth Works: Noise Engineering - Eurorack Character In A Small Footprint

US We get a look at their workshop      29/07/15

Baking tray project

I use baking trays to keep track of what needs work. This is the top priority new module tray.

Module limbo

Module Limbo: These are old prototypes that need attention but have been de-prioritized possibly cancelled.

Firmware code

As much of development is firmware I thought i'd include a couple of shots of software. This is the TI MSP430 development environment Code Composer Studio.

XMOS Development

This is the XMOS development environment xTimeComposer.

Oscillator waves

A lot of time is spent debugging in the analog domain as well. Here is a shot from my osciliscope measuring the envelope of the Sinclastic Empulatrix.

Thanks again to the Stephen at Noise Engineering for showing us his space. As you can see there are many aspects to creating these modules.
