Cherry Audio's Memorymode gets an update - and its a biggie. They have rebuilt it from the ground up as Memorymode 2, now a dual-layer instrument that can run two complete 16-voice polyphonic layers or splits per preset, with up to 48 voices per layer via unison stacking. The analog modeling has been reworked across oscillators, filters and envelopes.
Key changes and features:

Over 800 presets are on board, including the original Memorymode v1 sounds and precise recreations of 100 factory Memorymoog patches. Existing users can drag-and-drop v1 presets and projects into the new version, which installs separately so nothing gets overwritten.
Memorymode 2 is available now for $69, or $39 for Memorymode v1 owners. It runs on macOS 10.13 and later and Windows 7 and later in AU, VST, VST3, AAX and standalone formats, with a free 30-day demo.
Cherry Audio is also selling a Foundation Preset Pack for $9.99, with all August 2026 proceeds going to the Bob Moog Foundation. A Pick 3 or Pick 6 "Build Your Own Bundle" promotion is also running until September 7th, bringing the price per plugin below $25.
