e-Instruments SessionKeys Session Keys Grand S and Grand Y are forensically sampled Steinway D4 (S) and Yamaha CFIIIS (Y) grand pianos. Now there's the Session Keys Electric R - a meticulously sampled, specially modified 1976 Rhodes Mark 1 Stage Piano.

In fact the modifications to this specific instrument gives 8 separate outputs with different tine positions, as well as a set of purely acoustic samples for pure tine and key noise.

The Kontakt based instrument comes with Studio and Live variations, with the studio version having a direct output, clean, sparkley character, the Live more vintage, edgier rougher qaulity.

Effects include Tremolo, Chorus, Phaser, Amp, Comp, Delay and Reverb - giving some pretty radical sound shaping possibilities on top of the classic Rhodes sounds.

e-Instruments are also arch Kontakt scripters and have created plenty of tonal variation with their Pentamorph tonal control - which also opens up the instruments to more sound design, plus the Animator for clever, dynamic, auto part creation and Smart Chord for single finger chord creation with modifier keys, making the Electric R more than just a straightforward electric piano.

Once again, the levels of dynamics and sustain make for a very playable and extremely musical instrument.
