FutzBox from McDSP is now available in the Propellerhead shop. This is what they have to say about it...

Introducing one of the most popular music and post production tools for adding grit, distortion, and character to your audio... FutzBox! The FutzBox Rack Extension plug-in is a collection of filtering, distortion, noise generation, and lo-fi effects, coupled with the ability to harness the sound from over 160 devices including walkie-talkies, telephones, radios, and more!

Need to put an edge on a track? Make the whole mix retro? Perhaps audio obliteration? FutzBox can do it all, and everything in between.

Features include award winning filters and EQ, a 10-mode distortion section, versatile lo-fi effects, and Synthetic Impulse Modeling technology (SIM). The SIM section emulates a wide variety of devices in an extremely optimized format, using a minimum amount of CPU power.

FutzBox's noise generator and gate can be configured to augment a drum loop, dirty up a vocal, or give any audio that 'radio-cross-talk' sound you've been dying to put into a song since you started using Reason.

FutzBox comes with plenty of presets to get you started. CV inputs are included for additional parameter control. Outputs can include a mix of the original and processed audio.

When it comes to making audio sound bad, FutzBox has the goods.
