Reason Studios Release Algoritm FM Synthesizer

US Designed to make FM more intuitive      25/02/21

Reason Studios have announced their latest synth, Algoritm, an FM Synth said to be without the "h" for the Swedish spelling as well as the archaic design of classic FM Synths. Algoritm has nine operator slots that can host an FM operator, wavetable oscillator, shaper or filter making it more like a hybrid synth, with serious expansions beyond FM.

Most classic FM synths are a nightmare to program so this looks like a refreshing, modern take on the theme. It's possible to connect each sound slot freely to make your own combination of modulators and carriers which is normally set in FM modules.

About Algoritm FM Synthesizer

  • 9 operator slots for FM operators, wavetable oscillators, shapers or filters
  • Freely connectable operator slots for custom algorithms
  • Randomizer function for instant patch creation and morphing
  • 250+ Presets

Algoritm FM Synthesizer is available for Reason+ users or as a separate purchase (USD $99 / EUR €109) trough Reason Studios add-on shop.
