Best Polysynth of 2013 Vote - RESULTS

US Our readers have spoken      13/12/13

Winner: DSI Prophet 12

Not the forgone conclusion many people thought, with quite a close vote for 1st and 2nd place, but its not surprising that Dave Smith's monster polysynth takes the top spot.

Dave Smith said:

“Wow, this is cool! It’s always great to know our instruments are appreciated by musicians, especially those on a highly respected site like Sonic State. Thanks to everyone from DSI! Cheers, Dave Smith”

With Digital Oscillators and analog VCF - Dave told us that it allows him to do more interesting things with the synth that are not possible with VCOs. Listen to pretty much any demo and you'll understand why this synth has been the object of desire for many synth players.
