The eagle-eyed reporters of over at The Verge spotted that Apple has made a selection of the most highly regarded apps availabe for free in celebration of the fact that the iOS App Store is be Five Years Old this week.
So far the list is mostly game based, but its good to see at leadt one music app there in the form of Native Instruments Traktor DJ - which is an awesome app for the DJ inclined.
Traktor DJ is usually priced at $19.99 - but you can snaffle a freebie - we have no formal information on how long this will last.

Incidentally, search for App Store Five Years - yielded the hilarious story on how a five year old managed to rack up a $2.5k spending spree using in App purchases in just 10 minutes. A word of caution right there..
