The Moog booth always has pne or two major names gravitate to it. This year was no different - the introduction of the Sub Phatty synth (see our in-depth video) meant there were many waiting their turn to have a play.
Imagine, Stevie Wonder waiting inline to get a go..
Moog posted a video of several Masters of Funk and Jazz who came a long to tinkle the Sub.
We hear a dry line recording only, but still there's some serious skill at work.
In this video we have:
Larry Dunn - Earth Wind and Fire
Dr Lonnie Smith - Acid Jazz Master
and my favourite
Stevie Wonder - check his monosynth style, those slide and slurs are genius. I think I recognise "Boogie On Reggae Woman"
Bernie Worrell - Parliament Funkadelic and Talking Heads
White iLoud monitors and a new modelling guitar pedal
CV controlled mixing console and some distinctly dirty effects
