Extension Entertainment has introduced ExtensionFM - a free add-on for the Google Chrome Web browser that builds a library of free music, based on the pages you visit.

As you browse, ExtensionFM runs in the background, indexing every MP3 file you come across, building a music library for you. ExtensionFM will continue to check the sites you've visited, adding new music for you to listen to every day.

It presents the music in an iTunes-like interface, making it easy to play back music from the sites that you've visited.

Note that, while ExtensionFM is free, you have to agree to their terms of service to install it. Users are expected to respect intellectual property rights.

They note:

In the case of a visitor who may infringe or repeatedly infringes the copyrights or other intellectual property rights of ExFM or others, ExFM may, in its discretion, terminate or deny access to and use of the Service.

Details are available at the extension.fm site.
