Sounds/To/Sample has announced a new competition for sample producers:

We’ve teamed up with DJmag to seek out the next generation of sample producers. The winner will receive £1,000 worth of royalty-free samples of their choice of packs from www.soundstosample.com, including titles from Sample Magic, Zero-G, S2S, DrumDog, Best Service, Reimann, Beatluxe, realsamples and more. What’s more – they’ll also receive a contract with S2S to join one of the most respected sample teams on the planet.

To enter, create ten new and original loops that you have created in one of four categories:

  • Techno/Minimal
  • House (Electro, Funky, Bassline, Jackin', Disco etc)
  • Hip Hop (and RnB)
  • Other (all other sounds, and all other genres).

Sounds will be judged by DJmag’s tech editor Mick Wilson, DJ/Producer Sharooz and S2S’s Jake Island.
