Anyone who is interested in electronic music or computer music production should come along to the Unique Beats festival at the Roxy Arthouse in Edinburgh on Saturday 30th May, 2009. This one-day festival – sponsored by Red Dog Music – is dedicated to promoting all forms of electronic music making and will include many spectacular live performances, audio-visual displays and workshops. Some of the biggest names in music hardware and software will also be demonstrating the latest developments in cutting-edge music production. Already confirmed are Roland, Yamaha, Korg, Ableton, Steinberg, Propellerhead, Novation, Digidesign, M-Audio, Native Instruments and, of course, Cakewalk and EDIROL – phew!
Don't miss the chance to try out the incredible new V-Studio music-making systems by Cakewalk. Throughout the day our product specialists will be available to demonstrate the power of the V-Studio 700 and V-Studio 100 and answer any questions you may have. You'll get the chance to enjoy getting 'hands-on' with some of the most powerful, flexible and revolutionary music production systems currently available!
Furthermore EDIROL will be showcasing its wide rage of video products including the award winning V-8 video mixer and the P-10 visual presenter, which will no doubt be 'must see' products for all the VJs attending the event!
Live appearances throughout the day and evening will include Christ., Frog Pocket, Joe Acheson Quartet, ESPion, Morphamish and many more. The event will be given a visual background and narrative structure by the Noinput visual collective and there will be plenty of other audio-visual treats around the event. As well as enjoying the best in new music and getting to try out the latest music production gear, attendees will benefit from exclusive deals on gear from Red Dog, and all those who attend the workshops will be entered for a prize draw to win over £1,000 worth of electronic music making equipment, including a Roland SH-201 synth, a Digidesign M-Box Mini, Propellerhead's Reason 4 and Cakewalk's Sonar 8 Producer.
