Godin Guitar have introduce two new electric guitars aimed at rockers…the LG and the Freeway EMG Black Graphite models.
Godin’s description’s of their guitars always make us smile so here’s what they say about these two directly from their press release…
“Found in the already popular performance series, these guitars offer full out, blistering tone and are both cathartic rock/metal machines. The darkly alluring new black graphite semi gloss finish is a common bond between both guitars. However, like two disgruntled siblings, both these guitars have different explosive personalities.
The Freeway EMG possesses a sleek and aggressive double cutaway body style, made from a center block of Silver leaf maple with poplar wings to house a fixed bridge, volume and tone controls and a 3 way switch to select between 2 active EMG-81 humbuckers. These pickups combined with the guitar’s 25.5’’ scale and Silver leaf maple center, will provide a lethal level of attack and enough screaming sustain to peel paint off the walls!

LG
The LG EMG features a single cutaway, string through body design and the same controls as the Freeway EMG but combines a 24" scale, an all mahogany body and neck with an active EMG-85 humbucker in the neck and an EMG-81 humbucker in the bridge to offer up a warm and thick crushing wall of sound when needed.
Assembled in Berlin, New Hampshire from finely crafted parts made in LaPatrie Quebec, the Godin EMG Black Graphite models run the gamut of rock and scream for more even when you think you’ve got nothing left to give. So let it all out…these guitars will love you for it.
