Here’s our second installment from the bowels of the show, where Analog Haven had their stand. Previously, we talked to EAR Research’s Peter Grenader and Robert Rich, this time it’s the colourful Ken MacBeth who’s demonstrating his excellent M5 instrument, which is based on the classic ARP 2600 design but with several additions. Next up we talked to Dieter Doepfer who as always, has a number of new modules to show (he’s up to around 100 right now). We were treated to an excellent example of his new BBD module (Bucket Brigade Delay). Capable of some very strange sounds this. We also caught up with Bruce Duncan from ModCan and saw his new large format step sequencer and got a quick tour of his modules.
