Line 6 have announced the addition of two new colors to the Variax 700 line of high-end electric modelling guitars. The new Metallic Gold and Sunburst finishes are now part of the current selection of colour options for Variax 700, which include solid black, translucent red, amber, and blue. All translucent finishes feature a contoured ash top on a mahogany body. All Variax 700 guitars feature a carved top, mahogany body, optional tremolo, one-piece hard maple neck with rosewood fingerboard, and Gotoh tuners.

METALLIC GOLD FINISH

Variax 700 electric guitars combine Line 6's patent-pending guitar modelling technology in a custom designed solid-body guitar to accurately reproduce the sounds of a variety of well-known vintage electric and acoustic guitars. In addition Variax also offers well-known sounds of guitar-related instruments, such as a resonator, banjo, and electric sitar. Modelled variations include solid-body, semi hollowbody, and hollowbody electrics with single-coil and humbucking pickups, as well as, several six- and twelve string acoustics.
