Version 2.0 for Modular and Elektro The people at Clavia were making a quiet announcement about their forthcoming all new version 4.0 software for the Nord Modular and Micro modular units. Expected to be quite a revision from version 3.03, the boys in the back are working up a storm - in fact there are so many new features that they'll need to be working overtime. It's good to know that the product is still being developed for and that Nord are commited to working on these products – good on ‘em The upgrade will be free to existing owners and is expected later in the year. Also new is the Elektro V2.0 revision - featuring double the polyphony and extra parameters assigned to key off velocity - that's going to be useful for the clavinet sounds for starters. As we met there was a Clavia employee winging his way from Sweden with the ROMS for the show. No doubt you’ll also be pleased to know that the Elektro rack version will be shipping from April.
