Cubasis VST is now the most affordable Cubase with virtual studio technology ever. The program offers 32 Audio and 64 MIDI-channels, 64-channel-mixer with inserts and two equalizer for each channel and also several realtime-effect-plug-ins. The light version of Cubase now also features the new VST 2.0 interface. Some of the new plug-in instruments will be delivered within the lite-package: the synthesizer Neon, the bassmodule CuBass and the virtual drumcomputer LM-9, a lighter version of the already introduced LM-4. New in Cubasis VST is the Mastering Unit, which can master the production and burn to CD. Detailed editing can be done with the included WaveLab Light. The rookie user gets it for 199.- German Marks (app.: $US 98.-) a complete production tool including synthesizer, drum machine, mastering unit and sample-editor.
