The top four were literally only separated by a handful of votes, whereas the next were some way behind. Its a sign of just how competitive it is out there and how much great choice we have right now which is a Good Thing.

The Novation Bass Station 2 built upon the reputation of the original Bass Station and the design team put even more into it. With two oscillators and a choice of two filter types - one is a multimode filter, one the original Bass Station type filter, there are also a myriad modulation possibilities, in some ways the most complex synth engine of the top four and only missed out on a place by a smidge.
