Modal Elecgtronics popped in to show us the latest addition to the Craft range - the first one being Craft Synth - the Rhythm is a Drumpler - a sample playback drum pattern sequencer. It has 64 sample slots based on around 15mb RAM, with 8 voice playback. Each voice has envelope, filter (same as the Craft synth), level and pan. There are also three Pitch modes including real-time time-stretch - at the cost of a voice of polyphony.

Connectivity is via USB for MIDI control with applications for iOS, Android and OS X, audio out stereo Mini Jack.

Craft Rhythm is expected to be available in the next month or so, pricing to be confirmed.
