Big news last week when Steinberg announced this new range -  the CMC USB controllers - a lot of people got excited. So we were delighted to be able to take a look at the hardware in person at BPM.

Looks like some points have been clarified, some units - the Pad (CMC-PD) plus the four faders (CMC-FD) are DAW agnostic - that is out of the box, they are freely assignableand can work with other DAWs. The others in the range are tailored to work within the Steinberg ecosystem (Cubase, Neundo), and to help enhance the workflow considerably.
