Unreleased 1997 Daft Punk Mix Found

US Restored DAT recording shared on Soundcloud      30/10/26

Unreleased 1997 Daft Punk Mix Found

Cast your mind back to February 1997, now almost 30 years ago - just after Daft Punk had just released their first album 'Homework'. Thomas Bangalter and Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo recorded a mix for Trans Europe Express, a show that DJ Raplh Lawson hosted at the time. Ralph recently discovered a DAT tape recording of the set which was in bad shape and has now uploaded the mix, as revealed on his Instagram page.

Well it took a minute but massive thanks to Adrian @greatbeardigitising Bristol for restoring the tape by removing mould & fixing rips! Might have to share this one?

Listen to the full mix on Soundcloud:
