Harry from HOTONE battled an insanely loud guitar hall to give us a look at VOCLAS, the company's first vocal multi-effects processor, released at Music China 2026.
Voclas features pitch correction, pitch shifting, reverb, delay, harmonies, a looper and a colour touchscreen interface. It also includes Voice to Instrument, which converts whistling or humming into instrument sounds such as sax, flute or piano while keeping the result in pitch. The unit works as a USB class-compliant audio interface for streaming or direct connection to a laptop.
Workflow details include a separate guitar channel with its own effects and tuner. The harmony and pitch-shift system uses an AI algorithm to detect the song key from the guitar input and adjusts when the harmony changes.
Voclas runs from flexible power options, including a power bank, and is priced at $499.99 USD, with worldwide availability starting now.
