MAP Audio MFX: Modular Multi-FX Router

MAP Audio has announced the availability of MFX, a modular multi-effects plugin with 33 built-in effects, a patcher-style routing system, in-depth modulation capabilities and MAP's signature randomization tools. This is what they have tio say about it...

MFX is available now for macOS and Windows in VST3, AU, AAX, CLAP and Standalone formats, with an initial price of $80. A fully functional browser based version of the plugin is available to try on the MFX page on the MAP Audio website.

View one cell or all four at any time under the cell tab, where you can browse through 5 pages of effects including; EQ, Crusher, Delay, Flanger, Filter, FDN, Gate, EQ-8, Compressor, Wavefold, Resonator, Pan, Gain, Vocoder, Ring-Mod, Vinyl-Brake, Transient, Repeat, Pitch, Shimmer, Table-Filter, Chorus, Phaser, Freq-Shift, Drive, LPC, FM, Spectral-Delay, Squeeze Tape, Grain, Noise-Gate and Codec.

MFX's modular routing system works using four individual cells which each contain the standard 33 effects. The four cells can be routed into any combination, with gain controls between each cell. Combine that with a built-in frequency split and sidechain input and you've got a huge combination of potential routing options available.

Modulation is available through the Envelope, LFO and Parameter Sequence pages which house  4 envelopes, 6 LFOs and a fully customizable step sequencer. Alternatively, modulators can also be created, tweaked and assigned by right clicking any knob or slider. Every cell also has a follower for its own audio or another cell.
