Beijing 26: Nick's Friday Show Tour

US Jetlag is kicking in, but the show looks amazing      23/10/26

Nick takes a walk on Friday through Beijing Modular 26 as the venue moves from setup into performances, with a focus on The Cube, the exhibition halls, installation spaces and live rooms.

The Cube includes large atrium areas, exhibition halls, video walls, projection installations and multiple performance spaces. The layout includes an ambient room, a techno room, a modular stage and a Dolby Atmos stage. Several rooms use Void sound systems, while the Atmos space uses a Genelec multichannel setup.

The event is free to attend, with artists playing short sets throughout the day and into the night. The ambient room runs in an EMOM-style format, with tables set up for compact live rigs and performances happening in close succession.

It's an amazing space, and a really interesting mix of art, architecture and music - quite an experience!
