Parish Audio Releases HE2 Harmonic Enhancer

Parish Audio has released the HE2 Harmonic Enhancer, a new audio plugin designed to bring out more warmth, clarity, definition, and energy through harmonic processing. They say that, rather than simply boosting existing frequencies, HE2 generates new harmonic detail that can complement the character of vocals, guitars, bass, drums, and full mixes. Here's the details direct from the company...

Four dedicated tonal controls let users shape different parts of the sound independently: Warmth adds body and richness, Presence brings out midrange detail, Edge adds attack and bite, and Air introduces high-frequency openness and sparkle.

Smooth and Focused processing

• Smooth delivers softer, more rounded harmonic enhancement for subtle warmth and polish.
• Focused offers a more assertive harmonic character for stronger definition, attack, and presence.

An overall Amount control sets the enhancement intensity, while Mix blends the processed signal with the original. Selectable 1x, 2x, 4x, and 8x oversampling helps reduce aliasing during stronger harmonic processing. Factory and user presets are also included.

HE2 can be used for gentle enhancement on individual tracks and buses or for more noticeable harmonic character on vocals, instruments, drums, and mixes. The plugin is available in Windows VST3 and macOS VST3/AU formats.
