Free Granular Effect

Amazing Noises has released Grain Freezer, a free granular effect for Mac and Windows. This is what they have to say about it...

Grain Freezer listens to the audio on its track. Press Freeze and it captures a short fragment, 150 milliseconds, and sustains it as a cloud of overlapping grains, up to 64 at a time. Switch it off and your original sound is back. Blend the texture with the live input, or let Auto renew the frozen fragment on its own while your DAW plays, in seconds or in time with your music.

• Stereo and mono tracks. A stereo input keeps its image; with a stereo output, mono material is spread across the stereo field grain by grain.
• Freeze can be automated from your DAW.
• Nine factory presets, and your own presets to save and recall.

Pricing and Availability:
Free.
