US 13 producers choose their top tunes      21/10/26

We covered Calibre in conversation a couple of months back, and here we have a new angle on the Northern Irish artist - with 13 producers choosing their top Calibre tunes. Having released more than 20 albums, as well as singles, EPs and remixes, the panel have a wealth to choose from. Links to each producer, and more details below:

In this Electronic Beats TV video, we celebrate Dominick Martin better known as Calibre – a producer whose music has become an essential part of drum & bass culture while reaching far beyond it. Since emerging in the late 1990s, the Northern-irish artist has released an exceptionally deep and prolific catalogue, including more than 20 albums and countless singles, EPs and remixes. From timeless drum & bass and liquid classics to house, techno, dub and more introspective electronic music, Calibre has always been difficult to put into a single box.

For this celebration, DJ Marky, Mantra, Bailey, V.I.V.E.K, Tasha, TEED, gyrofield, Alley Cat, Makoto, Seba, Mia Koden, SP:MC and EMA each pick a favourite Calibre track and share the story behind their choice. The selections span different periods and different sides of his catalogue – offering a glimpse into the remarkable range of an artist who has remained relevant and deeply respected for more than 25 years.
