Browser-Native MIDI Visual Instrument

US LumaDeck Web is designed for live performance      01/09/26

CJ Development has introduced LumaDeck Web, which they describe as a browser-native live visual instrument designed for DJs, VJs, music producers and live performers.

A spokesperson told us, "LumaDeck Web  brings an instrument-style audiovisual workflow entirely into the browser."

Here's the details direct from the company...

LumaDeck approaches visuals as something to perform, rather than simply something to play back. The artist works from a dedicated Master interface controlling audio-reactive scenes, FX, branding and MIDI performance, while a completely separate clean visual output is sent to the audience screen or projector.

LumaDeck Web Pro develops that concept into a full performance environment with MIDI Learn, real-time performance controls, local video, custom GLSL shaders and an expandable visual system of up to 239 generative scenes.

Its audio-reactive Auto engine can run continuously when the performer wants a hands-off workflow, while live controls such as strobe, blackout and full-light can instantly override the automation at key musical moments. When released, the reactive engine resumes automatically without interrupting the visual flow.

Key capabilities include:
• Dual-screen Master + clean audience output architecture
• MIDI Learn and real-time MIDI performance control
• Audio-reactive generative visual engine
• Real-time WebGL / GLSL rendering
• Local video integration
• Custom GLSL shader support
• Up to 239 generative scenes across the visual ecosystem
• Browser-native operation with no traditional software installation
