The Sound Of The Middle East For Your DAW

US Best Service releases Arabic Oud      17/08/26

Best Service says that Arabic Oud brings the expressive sound of the Middle East directly into any DAW. Here's the dtails direct from the company...

Together with Arab musician and oud virtuoso Bassam Ayoub, three different ouds were recorded for the library. Arabic Oud combines authentic playing techniques, natural dynamics, and the distinctive character of the traditional instrument with the modern workflow of the Engine Player.

From finely ornamented melodies and fast runs to rhythmic accompaniment, Arabic Oud offers a versatile range of sounds for traditional music, World Music, film scoring, and modern productions. A total of 39 articulations provide expressive and dynamic performances.

A particular highlight is the integrated microtuning system. It enables traditional Maqam tunings directly within the instrument, adding the authentic character and expression that make the oud so distinctive.

Integrated MIDI songs and loops provide typical phrases and rhythmic playing techniques as inspiration for your own compositions. All three ouds are available as Full and resource-efficient Lite instruments.

Engine Player version 1.6.0 or higher required.
