GearExpo UK 2026: Gorgeous Abbey Road - Chandler REDD Mixing Sytem

At GearExpoUK26, we had a chat with Mirek from Chandler Limited who showed us the new Chandler Abbey Road Redd Mixing System. This collaboration with Abbey Road Studios brings to life two iconic sound profiles: the REDD valve channel strips and the transistor-based TG channels. The REDD sections, emphasizing the vintage Red 47 preamp, recreate the classic Abbey Road sound associated with the 1960s, while the TG consoles take cues from the Beatles and Pink Floyd eras.

The mixing system is designed for flexibility, allowing integration with modern workflows while maintaining an authentic vintage EQ feel. The system is modular, aiming to cater to both home and professional studios, with options to mix and match components to suit individual needs.

The system is priced around 20 to 22K GBP, offering a specialized product for those seeking that distinct vintage touch.
