Free Lo-Fi Plug-In

Audiolatry has released Apus which they describe as a free lo-fi plugin featuring 52 warm presets for keys, leads, pads, and melodic sounds. S spokesperson told us, "It is designed for lo-fi hip-hop, chill beats, ambient music, retro pop, and relaxed electronic productions."

The plugin has dusty textures, soft tones, and nostalgic sounds that work well for mellow chords, hazy melodies, subtle layers, and simple lead lines. Apus also includes built-in controls for shaping the sound, including envelope, modulation, filter, glide, chorus, distortion, delay, and reverb.
