Spitfire Strings and Cinematic Pads Come To MPC Hardware

Spitfire Audio has released two Originals libraries - Intimate Strings and Cinematic Pads - as native MPC content.

• Intimate Strings MPC Edition: 25-piece London chamber ensemble recorded at AIR Studios with close and tree microphone signals; includes Expression and Dynamics sliders plus built-in reverb, mapped for MPC pad control.
• Cinematic Pads MPC Edition: 23 evolving presets combining orchestral sources, synth elements and processed textures; parameters include Reverb, Attack, Release and Distort, with switchable Mellow, Bright and Cinematic signal paths.
• Requirements: MPC OS 3.7.1.
• Price: £29 / $29 / €29 per library.
• The practical bit: These are not VST wrappers. The samples and macro controls have been reworked specifically for MPC pads and controllers, so the expression mapping is handled natively.

MPC users who want legitimate orchestral and cinematic textures without running an external plugin host and staying inside the MPC ecosystem might want to  check them out.
