Embodme Erae Sound - An Instrument For The Erae Touch Controller

The Embodme Erae Touch 2 is an interesting combination of polyphonic MPE MIDI controller, looper and 42x42 LED matrix customizable UI  covering keys, pads, sliders, matrixes and much more. It can work from the lightest of touches to being hit with sticks. We've ben covering it from the first prototypes to the latest MKII.

As well as MIDI,  the Erae 2 has 16,000 sensors for excellent playability, plus a built in looper and and 12 dual channel analog outputs that can be used as GV Gate pairs.

Today they announced the Erae Sound a companion software instrument, which pairs with the surface for maximum expression and playability. With a Virtual Analogue Engine with two dual oscillator engines and 9 FX,  each preset has a unique Erae 2 layout making 84 specific instruments, each with its own expressive possibilities.

Its is possible to use Erae Sound with other MPE controllers, but I think that's missing the point of this paring.
