New Focusrite ISA Equipped C8X interface

Focusrite have released a new multi-channel audio interface with two legendary ISA Preamps with Console saturation, 430 Air and drive. The ISA C8X is surprisingly the first time they've iuncluded their ISA preamps in any audio interface, and includes the classic Lundahl transformer signal path they have are so well known for.

With 26-in, 28-out  at up to 192kHz at 24-bit (analogue only) he USB-C audio interface allows total configuration of the analogue, digital and ADAT routinga via the Focursrite Control app for desktop and iOS.

With two channels of classic ISA preamps and another 6 of modern preamps (also with Drive and 430 Air modes), they have XLR and TRS inputs for maximum connectivity, there's 2 ADAT IO ports (16 channels at 44.1/48kHz and up to 8 channels at 96kHz) for connecting other convertors, and plenty of analog outputs for routing and monitoring.

We have a video coming in the next day or  so. Stay tuned.

• Two primary channels feature the original Lundahl LL1538 transformer circuit, offering up to 79dB of gain.
• All-analogue Console mode introduces saturation, while 430 Air mode borrows high-shelf filtering from the ISA 430 MkII.
• Six additional ultra-low-noise mic preamps provide 69dB of gain, alongside two transformer-based instrument inputs on the front panel.
• Conversion is handled by 24-bit/192 kHz AD/DA converters, delivering up to 125dB of dynamic range.
• Twelve line outputs support monitoring setups up to 7.1.4 surround, with ADAT and S/PDIF for expansion.
