Softube Releases Flow Studio

Softube has introduced Flow Studio. They say that, combining album-ready signal chains with quick, hands-on control in a small footprint, it's the ultimate control surface for the busy music producer. A spokesperson told us, "Put inspiration front and center with Flow Studio." Here's the details direct from the company...

Freaking fun
Flow® Studio delivers hands-on control of vocal tuning, delay, reverb, compression, saturation, guitar amps, and more with a streamlined layout that is designed to transform your sound in a second and let your creativity run free. The Analog Feel touch-sensitive knobs are macro controls that adjust the parameters of several plug-ins at once. The Omni Knob can control all eight macros at once as well as give you instant access to common functions like input gain and output volume. An immersive 4.3" high-resolution display shows you metering, EQ curves, and inspiring graphics.

Lightning fast
Take a dry recording to a draft mix in seconds. Flow® Studio comes equipped with Flow® Studio Suite, a collection of 100-plus signal chains made to make vocals, guitars, synths, drums, and more sound better than ever, and help ignite new ideas and paths for your music. Built by top sound designers and music producers, these chains – called Flows – mean the twist of any macro knob immediately transforms the sound.
With three modes, Flow® Studio gives users three ways to accelerate their workflow. Users can quickly switch between DAW Mode – for control of parameters such as track volume, pan, solo/mute, and sends – and Flow Mode, which helps users impart the instant magic of Softube sound on their track. Last, but far from least, there's Detail Mode, which allows the user to go into each plug-in in the signal chain for further adjustments.

Premium software
Softube-quality sound and workflow in hardware form and software form. The Flow® Studio hardware includes 25 premium software effects, such as equalizers, compressors, guitar amps, reverbs, and delays. Each included tool comes with the backing of Softube's 20-plus years of development experience plus perpetual ownership. The included software essentials – from the classic OPTO Compressor to the all-new Core Dimensions – make up over 100 signal chains, or Flows, and comprehensively cover most studio needs.
