A Real Drummer Inside Your DAW?

US Sampleson launches Boomcha      15/04/26

Sampleson has announced Boomcha, a new app and plugin that they say turns simple kick-snare patterns into expressive, human drum performances. This is what they have told us about it...

Draw a pattern on Boomcha's grid, and it instantly finds matching grooves from a library of 1.5 million rhythm cells performed by professional drummers. The result is editable MIDI with the natural timing, dynamics, and subtle variations of authentic drumming.

Real grooves. Fully editable MIDI.
Boomcha outputs clean, production-ready MIDI that can be dragged into any DAW and used with any drum instrument. Every note and velocity remains fully editable, giving users complete control while preserving a human feel.

Key features:

  • Intuitive kick & snare grid for fast pattern creation
  • Automatic matching with real drummer grooves
  • Generates 8–16 bar variations per search
  • Drag & drop MIDI export to any DAW
  • Available as standalone app, VST3, and AU
  • Compatible with Windows & macOS (Intel & Apple Silicon)
  • 4K / Retina-ready interface

Pricing and Availability:
Boomcha is available now for an introductory price of $29 (regular price: $49).
