Tim Exile Has A New Tool Cooking

US Build your own playable instruments      14/04/26

Time Exile is known for his unique and performative approach to creating music, instruments and creative tools.

He's just uploaded a video about the ongoing work his latest project - currently listed as a New Modular System (nms). It seems to be running in NI Reaktor in the video, but incpoporates a lot of the performative approaches to the way he works. Comprising of a dynamic environment with some cutely named instruments, Sawbird (simple synth voice), Duffy (Kick), Hattersly (hats), Roisin (resonator), Pyonyang (dub delay) etc.

The goal is flow -- one continuous creative state that runs from the first patch cable all the way to the live show.

In this video he demonstrates the work in progress, and encourages people to buy into the project and download the working prototype for £49 (you will need a full version of NI Reaktor -included in Komplete) - to help support the project and get involved in its development.

Note: you can still play around with the Reaktor Player version for 30 mins - no saving

There's also a deeper dive video linked from this page where you can find out more.
