The Rise and Fall of the SoundBlaster

US Singapore's de facto standard for consumer audio      26/03/26

The name Soundblaster is synonymous with the early days of music making and dedicated video game music. The brand who created it, Creative Technology made a flurry of sound cards, with the SoundBlaster becoming the most iconic and ubiquitous. This video seeks to tell the full story of the Soundblaster and it's creators who founded the company in 1981 - childhood friends and Ngee Ann Polytechnic schoolmates Sim Wong Hoo and Ng Kai Wa.
