LSPXPO 2026: Chompi Firmware - Tempo - More Options

Tyler from Chase Bliss who Chompi are now part of,  gave us an overview of the latest Tempo firmware update for the Chompi  sampler. This new firmware introduces a fresh workflow, adapting the looper section into an arpeggiator-style step sequencer.

The update allows for rhythmic and MIDI-synced integration, making the Chompi more suitable for performative setups. The new firmware keep the  dual engine setup but adds chromatic and slice modes, expanding the sample manipulation options.

Tyler also highlighted how you can blend delay and reverb effects while introducing randomization. The Tempo firmware was designed to work independently, swapping SD cards allows you to load either of the current firmwares.
