Kick Drum Creator

MIA Laboratories  describes their Kick 101 as a complete solution for professional Kick drum creation in both electronic and acoustic productions. They say that it is a 3-voice Kick drum synthesizer that delivers perfectly tuned low end, precise transients, and smooth layering, all within a compact, intuitive plugin. Here's more details in the company's own words...

Each voice features 5 sound engines -sine, triangle, pulse, saw, and noise- optimized for minimal aliasing. An External Input channel allows processing of any external material directly through Kick 101's signal path, for accurate hybrid layering.

Shape your kick with dedicated Amp and Pitch Envelopes, independent Tone and Phase controls, plus a 4-filter EQ per voice. Enjoy detailed transient control, musical curve shaping, and precise tuning with intuitive control.

Bring your Kick through the finish line with a powerful Saturator, delivering from subtle warmth to bold, aggressive distortion, a transparent and precise Compressor, and a 3-band semi-Parametric Filter specifically engineered for Kick Drum processing. A Master chain to polish, fatten, or demolish your Kick, with endless sound-design possibilities.

Optimize your workflow with Macro controls, a dual Preset engine (Global and Voice-specific) and multiple smart features, in a plugin built to deliver production-ready results with minimal friction.

Kick 101 is the easiest way to create the perfect kick -or empower an existing one- across a multitude of genres, excelling in Techno, Psy-Trance, Industrial, EDM, and Hip Hop. It delivers fast, reproducible results that fit into your workflow.
