NAMM 26: MPC XL Is Out And Its Massive

US MPCe Pads OS 3.7 too      20/01/26

It's so hard to keep these things under wraps these days, and we pity anyone who's trying to juggle the deadline whilst letting people who need to know what's coming, but we did hear about the MPC XL last week via a few leaks. However, today is the day it's officially out - just in time for NAMM (which is starting Thursday).

So here it is, the MPC XL which is the flagship of the MPC range with increased processing - Gen 2 8-core processor with 4x the processing power of previous MPCs and 16GB RAM,  the new MPCe 4 quadrant pads we first saw in the MPC LIVE III (*SEE OUR VIDEO) , plus the 16 step sequencing buttons, Q-link controls and touchstrips.

This thing is larger than the OG MPC X  with a 10.1" HD multi-gesture touchscreen. Its massive!

Available now priced at €2,899.99, £2,499.99 and $2,899 through Akai dealers.

AKAI Professional and Spitfire Audio have formed a new strategic partnership which will provide MPC users access to Spitfire's tools within their MPC devices, beginning with the MPC XL. More information surrounding this partnership will be announced at a later date.
