DawNote - A New Creative Workflow

FKFX Audio has announced DawNote, which they describe as a new creative workflow for musicians, producers, and composers who know that inspiration rarely happens in front of a screen. Here's the details in their own words...

DawNote lets users send their current DAW mix to a mobile device, listen to it in real-world situations (walking, commuting, travelling), and capture voice notes or sung ideas at the exact moment inspiration strikes. These ideas are then synced back to the studio, ready to be used directly in the DAW.

The concept behind DawNote is simple: listening outside the studio offers a different perspective, and some ideas cannot be expressed efficiently with text alone. Tone, intention, and urgency are often better captured with voice.

Key points:

• Mobile and desktop creative workflow
• Voice notes and melodies captured while listening to a mix
• Designed specifically for use outside the studio
• Notes sync back into the DAW for later work
• No account, no subscription, no cloud dependency
• A free version available at launch to discover the workflow

Pricing and Availability:
DawNote is planned for release in early 2026.
